Lauren White's Profile
My name is Lauren White and I have been a practising psychotherapist and group analyst for over 25 years. During that time, I have worked within the NHS, the third sector, and in private practice. I am also an experienced workshop leader and lecturer, and I have been a training psychotherapist and supervisor for counsellors, psychotherapists, art therapists, music therapists, and drama therapists.
I have a consulting room in Lincoln (LN5) and I also see clients in London, at The Guild of Psychotherapists in Nelson Square, SE1 OQA.
My clients come into psychotherapy or counselling for a variety of reasons, including anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, and relationship difficulties; loss and bereavement; work-related problems; and Post Traumatic Stress. Not everyone knows what is bothering them, however. Some clients might feel confused and unhappy without being clear why. Perhaps, they find themselves struggling to make sense of who they are. Or they believe that their somehow lacks meaning.
I am a UKCP Registered supervisor. My approach is to facilitate reflective practice in a relationship of trust, encouraging the use of parallel process in supervision to further understanding. I have facilitated reflective practice groups for staff in the NHS, and the charitable sector. I have also been a clinical supervisor at a South London counselling service.
TEL: 07913746337 or 01522538715. Please leave a message if I am not immediately available and I will call you back.
