SUMMARY:Reading the Red Book
DESCRIPTION:Step into the imaginal world of Carl Jung’s ‘Red Book’\, a cornerstone of modern psychological and spiritual thought. \nThis unique reading group invites you to engage deeply with Jung’s visionary experiences in Liber Primus\, the first part of his extraordinary journey into the unconscious. Guided by two experienced psychotherapists\, Stuart Lee1 and Rebecca Neale2\, you’ll explore Jung’s powerful imagery\, its psychological and spiritual implications\, and how it resonates with your own unfolding path. \nA short introduction to Jung’s Red Book can be found here. \nWhy join this group?\n\nExperience the text\, not just study it. Enter Jung’s world of symbols and inner transformation.\nConnect his visions to your own life journey\, insights\, and challenges.\nExplore links between the Red Book\, Jungian psychology\, creative and imaginative processes\, and ancient esoteric traditions of initiation.\nEngage in rich\, reflective dialogue in a safe\, open\, and well-held space.\nGrow through shared inquiry with others on similar paths.\n\nWhether you consider yourself a seasoned Jungian or are new to Jung’s work\, this group offers an accessible\, meaningful\, and thought-provoking way to engage with one of the most significant texts in depth psychology. \nIdeal for:\n\nIndividuals seeking personal or spiritual growth\nPsychotherapists\, counsellors\, and spiritual guides or directors\nStudents of mythology\, depth psychology\, or Jungian thought\nAnyone curious about visionary experience\, the creative process\, symbolic meaning\, and inner transformation\n\nWhat Participants Are Saying:\n\n\n\n“Inspiring\, interesting and thought provoking. I found the course riveting.” \n“We discussed not only the text but the implications for the text in this day and age and also\, in some cases\, our personal lives.” \n“I’ve had difficult experiences with online training but this felt collaborative and enjoyable.” \n\nAll participants in our previous groups rated the course as “Excellent” and said it exceeded expectations. \n\n\nNext Group Begins: Spring 2026 on Zoom\nWe will be reading Liber Primus\, the first part of The Red Book\, this term.
