Mike Mcdonough

I am a UKCP registered psychoanalytic psychotherapist experienced in supporting people dealing with anxiety and depression, relationship problems, low self-esteem, shame, bereavement, trauma, the effects of childhood sexual abuse and sexual diversity issues, among others. I work with individuals and am a member of the Guild of Psychotherapists.

Whatever difficulties you are experiencing in your life right now, I am willing to explore them with you in a safe and confidential setting. I have a very good track record of helping clients to manage their depression, anxiety or other difficult feelings, accept themselves better and enhance their emotional well-being.

I work in private practice in Tottenham, Haringey. I work as a volunteer therapist for a charity that provides psychotherapy to people with experience of psychosis. I have worked as a counsellor in the NHS, for a bereavement service in Camden, for a mental health charity in Hackney and for a charity that supports adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
